Chloe Elizabeth in a floral stripe t-shirt and culottes

Chloe Elizabeth laughing infront of fire station doors.

Would you believe it! I've been blogging for five years now, and I have finally have the guts to upload some outfit photos on here. What is even better, is that I actually quite like the photos, and I can't wait to do it again!

When I first started blogging back in 2013, I absolutely loved clothes and I loved makeup. Though, over the past couple of years I've found myself a lot busier at University and working part time in fashion retail. The two of these combined meant that when push came to shove, I just didn't shop (even though I worked in a clothes shop - I always just wanted to go home after my shift!) and I gradually found myself converting to a plain, basic wardrobe.

The outfit I'm wearing in this post is nothing special but it's my go-to for those days where I want something comfortable but nice. It's probably the favourite outfit I have in my wardrobe! Both my t-shirt and culottes are from Primark; the t-shirt only costing me £2 in the sale and the culottes I believe were £10 last year. The shoes I chose for this outfit were a given (and they'll probably be in every single outfit post that I do over the Summer, as you can see by my Summer Florals post), my Dr. Martens Balfour sandals. I purchased these last year and I absolutely adore them, they are so comfortable and the added bonus is that they let my feet breathe. They didn't need wearing in either - quite the opposite of my Dr. Marten boots!

And of course, a big, huge thank you to Katrina for taking these photos and filling her camera storage with photos of me! ♡

  1. That's such a lovely outfit, you look great in it! I'm starting to really love culottes - I never thought I could pull them off, but they always look so good and comfy on other people, so I bit the bullet and bought a pair of very loud, orange ones from Primark and I'm in love!

I don't wear sandals nearly enough, I'm more of a trainer gal, but I'm trying to branch out my wardrobe so I can look nicer on more casual days. I think I'll have to incorporate them more into my outfits! Lovely post ☺️

  4. I love the waist on those pants. The drawstring suits the style too, which I wouldn't have really thought, until I actual saw it.

This outfit could work for so many purposes too. Work, university, a day out, lunch with friends.

    Thanks for sharing!
