On my recent trip to London, Nati became my tour guide as we did a little exploring through the shopping areas in London. The main discovery was definitely Kingly Court, which is located just off Carnaby Street in Soho. The second we entered I was in awe at the surroundings, Kingly Court is a three story building with various restaurants in an open square, and an open seating area on the bottom floor. It's absolutely gorgeous and so creative, with flowers displayed all around and colourful shop signs.
Kingly Court is host to a wide variety of restaurants including Dirty Bones, selling a variety of New York food and cocktails including burgers, hotdogs, mac and cheese. Basically, all of the comfort food that you can think of. It sounds incredible and I definitely want to visit here the next time I'm in London! Alternatively, you can indulge in some Peruvian food and drinks at Señor Ceviche, and chill out with some latin music! SO Pure Café offers a variety of vegan and vegetarian choices, with their food sourced locally and is organic where possible. These are just a few of the options available but heck, there really does seem to be something for everyone and I can't wait to go back and try out more of the places!
We decided to visit Crumbs & Doilies, a bakery serving a variety of cupcakes which are all baked in-store on the day. The cupcakes on offer change daily, with some of the cupcakes on the day including Maltesers and Rolo flavoured cookies. I actually opted for a Cookie Dough flavoured cupcake which was absolutely credible, worth the £3.40 in a heartbeat. I actually wish I could've took another home! Daily cupcakes also include Chocolate Guinness, Lotus Biscoff and Mexican Hot Chocolate. C&D do offer some classic cupcakes which are available more often, which include Vanilla Rose, Red Velvet, Salted Caramel and Lemon & Poppyseed.
What I really loved about this store was that they offer some smaller, 'mini' cupcakes which are absolutely adorable. They're the perfect taster size, and would be great for a little sweet treat after lunch elsewhere in Kingly Court. Yum!
Where are your favourite places to eat in London? I'd love to hear your recommendations!
