When we entered, we were given a Strawberry Bellini and we had some time to chat and mingle with other bloggers. It was great to see Chloe and Maddie as per usual, and I thoroughly enjoyed having so many of my blogger pals at the same event!

Once everybody had arrived and we were all settled in, we were given a presentation on how to use your camera, utilizing ISO, shutter speed and f-stop. We were separated into groups and experimented using lighting techniques and prisms to take photos more differently and creatively. I found this a lot of fun, especially as i've always focused on editing my photos using my mac and lightroom rather than playing around when taking them. The masterclass was run by Elouisa Georgiou and it was a fantastic opportunity to ask questions and gather some tips and tricks.

After the workshops had taken place, we kindly had some food brought out to our tables and we were given the opportunity to try Dirty Martini's collection of Christmas cocktails (which need I say, are incredible). Meanwhile, we all chose one photo to be printed out (using the Canon Pixma TS5050) so that Elouisa could choose a winner from all of the photographs taken.
If this photography masterclass has taught me one thing, it's that I really need to take my camera out of auto mode and start having a play with manual.
There's nothing more fun than an exciting night spent with friends, I had a fantastic time and I can't wait to start putting some of the photography tips to great use!
