If anybody asks – this bouquet is from my “boyfriend”, right?
When Blossoming Gifts offered me the opportunity to review one of their bouquets, I couldn’t pass up the chance. I absolutely love flowers and I think they make a room look so much warmer and more colourful, which is especially the case since I have a grey and white colour scheme. Blossoming Gifts specialise in flowers through the post and I’ve never tried ordering a bouquet online myself, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the experience. I decided to order the ‘Sweet Autumn’ bouquet, costing £27.99.
I chose the day which I wanted my parcel to arrive (you can do this up to four months in advance) and the courier delivered them on that day. They arrived well packaged in a sturdy cardboard box with plenty of wrapping and were not at all squashed or ruined in the delivery process. Unpackaging the flowers was quite a tedious task I’ll admit, once they had been removed from all of the packaging (make sure you have a pair of strong scissors on hand!), I found that the stems needed to be trimmed in order to fit into the vase. There is a leaflet provided with this to help alongside a few other flower care instructions, to get the longest possible life from the bouquet.
They arrived with food also to help prolong life and appearance. My flowers arrived in bud to help prolong the life of them and they looked great at this point, although now flourished they look even brighter and absolutely stunning. Even from a student perspective, I think £27 is a more than reasonable price to pay for a stunning bouquet. I’ve had mine sitting in my living room for about two weeks now and it still looks wonderful and I think they’d make a lovely gift this Christmas.
Blossoming Gifts have also offered the opportunity to win your own bouquet of choice, up to the value of £35. All you have to do is fill in the rafflecopter below… Good luck!
